As you go through our checkout pages you will be redirected to the Protx site to enter your card details. All transaction information passed between our site and Protx is encrypted. Card details entered on the Protx site itself are protected by the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128 bits (the highest level commercially available). No cardholder information is ever passed unencrypted and any messages sent to dots 4 strings from Protx are signed using MD5 hashing to prevent tampering. You can be completely secure in the knowledge that no information on the Protx servers can be examined, used or modified by any third parties attempting to gain access to sensitive information. Protx are regularly audited by Visa and MasterCard to ensure that their systems conform to the latest security standards.

As an extra security measure duing the payment process, you will be asked to provide your CVV2 3-digit security code, which is found on the back of your card.

We accept all major credit and debit cards.

3-D Secure  back to top

3-D Secure is the new protocol developed by Visa ('Verified by Visa') and MasterCard ('MasterCard SecureCode') to secure card payments over the Internet. It requires the cardholder to provide a personal password when paying for goods online with their debit or credit card just as they would provide a pin on the high street. This ensures that the shopper is who they say they are when providing card details to an online shop. Cardholders can sign up to the service with their card provider at no cost and are reasurred that their card is protected from fraudulent use on the internet. By the end of 2007 it is anticipated that all online transactions will require 3D Secure verification.

From 1st July 2007, if paying with a Maestro debit card, you are advised to register now with 'MasterCard SecureCode'. Any non-UK customers who have not registered will find their payments rejected.
