Mavron String Quartet
Formed in September 2002 the Mavron Quartet is one of Wales’ most exciting and talented young ensembles. Following their success in the inaugural Cavatina Chamber Music competition at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in 2003, the quartet was appointed Junior Fellows in chamber music at the college for the 2004/05 academic session. Later that year, the ensemble successfully auditioned for Yeheudi Menuhin’s highly prestigious Live Music Now! Scheme.
Rhosyn Wen String Quartet
Rhosyn Wen String Quartet is a new and exciting classical chamber ensemble comprising of four good friends who are experienced musicians based in South Wales. We bring a fresh approach to performing high quality live music and can provide that special atmosphere to an important occasion, be it a concert, wedding, corporate event or party.
